Some Beauty Hauling.

This month has been, for some odd reason a month full of make-up. I guess it might have a little something to do with spring being around the corner and it's time to switch to lighter colours and summery hues.

So with that goal/thought in mind, I've been hitting the make-up counters.

The things I've picked up:

From MAC- The paint-pot in Painterly- I love this cream eye-shadow/shadow base. It goes on super smoothly and evens out my slightly pigmented eyelids. I add some shadows on top and it goes on super easy and it actually makes the other shadows pop a whole lot more.

Powder blush in Stay Pretty- a light pink flush of a colour is great for summer and spring. It leaves a touch of pink to your cheeks and I've really been enjoying it.

Lipstick in Capricious- a great day wear lipstick, it's a nice mauve-y brown and looks great on and Sally loves it very, very much.

Eye pencil in Feline- a soft, smooth and intensely dark black pencil, which we've been using as a kohl mainly. I love, love, love it!

From Lakme- the Iconic mascara. After getting the Iconic kajal and enjoying it, we thought we could try the mascara too. I like it so far. I've only used it a couple of time. I am always on the lookout for a good mascara. So if you love one, do recommend it.

From Maybelline- a solo nail polish, a bright red. I am all about getting reds in different versions. So this one is for the collection.

From Kiehls- a small sample size of the Creme de Corps, I got this free for returning/recycling two of my Kiehls shampoos. I love brands that reward you for recycling empties.

From Colorbar- A got a bunch of stuff from here. I love the stuff from this brand. The stuff is very affordable and the quality is really great too. So on to the stuff I got.

A blush in Coralicious (OK I am not a 100% on the name) but it's a nice, bright coral blush which just screams spring to me. I love it.

Neon nailpaints in Bloody Mary and Pink Lady. Bright and intensely fun.

Take Me As I Am lipsticks in Flirtatious Pink- this pencil form lipstick is such fun. Soft and the colour pay-off is amazing.

Eye pencils in Oriental Blue and Turquoise (again sorry the exact name escapes me)- both these go on like a dream. Smooth and soft and doesn't pull the the skin one bit. The iGlide pencils from Colorbar are seriously amazing! I can't recommend them enough!

Uff, enough out of me. Tell me what make-up you've been loving lately?

I have the eyeconic mascara too and I like it (though I don't use mascara much). Have you used the Maybelline Colossal kajal?? Is the eyeconic one better??

BeingFab- the iconic kajal is definetly better, you should try it. it's softer and smoother and doesn't smudge at all. The Colossal one was good the first few times I tried it but the third stick I bought was really dry and not smooth to apply.

Shooting Star- I might give the MAC mascara another go, maybe the ones
I had were a fluke. What I really want to try is the Lancome mascara- pricey as they are I've heard they do good things for your lashes.
