What We Loved: January

Here are some things that we loved a whole lot in the past month!

Smith's Rosebud Salve: This is a life saver in the drier months. Still haven't figured out where to buy this in Bombay yet.. If you know where, let us know. This smells divine and is moisturizing without being too sticky or thick!

The Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation is perfect if you want nice coverage with none of the accompanying heaviness. We like using this when we need something substantial for the day...

For our lips, we have been loving the Revlon lip Butters!!! These are super pigmented and super creamy!! We bought 5 of these at one go and love all the shades we picked up! Our favourites in the recent past have been- Red Velvet (Sally's) and Pink Truffle (Holly's).

The perfect pink for Indian skin tones... this Bourjois blush is simply stunning!

We like doing up our eyes now and then. So, this pretty palette of neutrals from L'Oreal is perfect of creating a bit of drama...

We've been eagerly awaiting the premiere of 'The Carrie Diaries'. As hardcore Sex and the City fans, we wanted to re-enter Carrie's world and this show is just so cute and fun! :)

Argo deserves all the awards, nominations and buzz that it has been receiving. A fabulous movie based on a true incident. Well made.

We've been reading a lot of books this past month- almost 30 between the two of us! :) This is the book that we loved the most! The Invisible Ones is the story of Gypsies, their off-the-grid lives, traditions and culture with a mystery thrown in for good measure. Highly recommended!

What have you been loving this past month? Any good books? Movies? Beauty products? Tell us, tell us!

I've just started reading Maeve Binchy. I heard of her for the first time recently and went ahead and bough three of her books. Simple and fuss free writing, with fun descriptions of small town lives. I think you'd like them!
